“I go out on stage, and my intention is to make the first four rows bleed from their ears.” (Sonny Sharrock) last exit was a legendary free jazz band, formed in 1986, officially ceasing to exist in 1994. the band members were: electric guitarist Sonny Sharrock, drummer/occasional vocalist, Ronnald Shannon Jackson, saxophonist Peter Brötzmann and bass guitarist Bill Laswell. musically, they brought free jazz with metal and punk together, playing "intricate, wildly adventurous, frequently funny music." (John Dugan).
Their self-titled live debut album was recorded in paris in February 16, 1986
